Our history
Villa Castiglioni Fisogni in Tradate, dating back to the 18th century, is an example of a noble estate in Art Nouveau style; surrounded by a large and green garden, since 2015 it has been a magnificent location for weddings and events.
The Villa belonged to Cesare Castiglioni who, only nineteen years old, followed Garibaldi in the Italian wars of independence; upon his return he started a business in the textile sector; he also gave the building its current appearance, in the mid-1800s.
The main courtyard is open on one side towards the large English garden, closed on the west side by the owners’ home; the bay window, built on the ground floor with three mullioned windows, is noteworthy: the style is neo-Gothic with Tudor references.
The internal courtyard, which once housed textile activities, maintains a more rustic and authentic style, and preserves intact the charm of the 19th century courtyards.
